Let’s tie an eco-friendly rakhi that does more than just decorate your brother’s wrist. Let’s tie a rakhi that smiles back at nature too.
When you choose a plantable rakhi or seed rakhi, you are adding one more beautiful promise after the festival, your brother can plant that rakhi in a pot or garden. In a few days, tiny green leaves will peek out of the soil, just like your love growing stronger every day. Imagine your brother looking at that plant and remembering you, not just for a day but for months and years.
May your brother’s life bloom like the plant you grow together. May your bond stay strong, and may Mother Earth smile at your kindness.

Eco-friendly rakhi is a rakhi made with natural raw materials which are biodegradable like like organic cotton threads, tulsi beads, sandalwood.
If your rakhi is plantable which has seed in it, you can put it in a pot with soil and water it. It will grow into a plant. If its made of natural materail without any seed , just put it in soil and it will degrade with time.
Spend time with your brother or sister, tie the rakhi with love and if possible, use an eco-friendly rakhi to show love for nature too.
Natural threads like cotton or jute are used. They are soft, safe for skin, and good for the environment.
Plantable rakhis are those which has seeds in them and after Raksha Bandhan when you put the rakhi in soil in a pot or directly in ground then in few days it will grow into a plant.
